THE WOMEN AT THE WELL:
A collection of short stories

“Jesus replied, ‘people soon become thirsty again after drinking this water. But the water I give them takes away thirst altogether…’ the woman said give me some of that water.”
(John 4:13-15, NLT)
This is a collection of short stories from the lives of different women, mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, friends, you, and me.
We all have our stories. We all have played judges, but I am asking you, pleading even that as these women welcome us into a moment in their lives, as they share secrets, as they cry out in pain from mistakes made, as they share triumphs with us, I hope that we won’t judge but learn, learn from where they went wrong, possess hope in overcoming the challenges we face; above all I hope to encourage you that though we are different in so many ways, we are the same in one, we all have a thirst for love, fulfilment and acceptance. We are all women at the well. And it is possible to thirst no more.
Loving thoughts
